2022 proved to be a great vintage with exceptionally hot and dry conditions in the summer. An earlier than normal harvest led to an extremely focused expression of Hudson River Region Cabernet Franc. This 100% Estate grown Cabernet Franc shows concentrated fruit aromas that are balanced by the subtle barrel spice from 8 months in 2-5 year old 500L French oak puncheons. The palate offers firm tannins, moderate acidity, ripe berry and tobacco notes that linger.
